Noises Off at SF Playhouse Gets Good Reviews

When we were writing for Key Magazine back in 1985, “Noises Off” made its San Francisco debut at the Curran Theatre. It was a big hit then, and by all accounts, it’s a big hit now.
The Mercury News praises this production and calls it “two farces in one… hectic and bawdy.”
That’s how we remember it, too.

Now through May 13, you can see this Tony Award winning masterpiece at the San Francisco Playhouse.
“In these changing times, nothing seemed more perfect than putting up a show whose sole purpose is to encourage us to laugh at our human foibles,” said director and Playhouse co-founder Susi Damilano. “Noises Off is a true classic that reaches comedic heights rarely achieved in the thirty-plus years since it was written.”
